Moncalieri (To), 4 and 5 October 2007.
The international Workshop "Technology transfer policies in Europe: experiences and projects", promoted by CSS in collaboration with Ceris-CNR, Compagnia di SanPaolo and sponsored by the Municipality of Turin, was held at the Collegio Carlo Alberto. The workshop sought to contribute to the discussion of a fundamental aspect of research and innovation policy: the transfer of technologies and knowledge produced by scientific research towards industry and other sectors. The workshop was attended by representatives of international research centres, companies, science and technology parks, financial companies, public administrations and chambers of commerce. The meeting ended with a round table involving academics, social scientists and experts of the "technology transfer" sector.
